Alan Colmes, the far-left progressive made famous by being paired with conservative Sean Hannity on Hannity and Colmes (now Hannity), and a leading singer in the Obama worship choir, is no longer circling the wagons to protect his Messiah.
On this morning’s America Live with Megyn Kelly, Colmes, now a sporadic FOX News commentator, and author of the 2012 mega-flop, Thank the Liberals For Saving America (Colmes may currently be re-evaluating the validity of this title), appeared with popular conservative radio talk-show host, Lars Larson to discuss the latest revelations about the Obama regime’s epidemic, unconstitutional, (formerly) secret spy program:
MEGYN KELLY: “Barack Obama swore he was going to be the anti-George Bush when it came to matters of national security. What happened to that candidate Barack Obama?”
ALAN COLMES: “I don’t know what he saw, but I’m quite disappointed about this. Also, the fact, not only did we find out they are looking at phone records of everybody who is a Verizon customer, but what other companies are they looking at in terms of telephone companies? We found out a day later, that they’re looking at internet providers, and yet some of those providers, like Google, said, “We don’t have any knowledge about this.”"
“How could that possibly be? And, if we can’t trust them to be transparent, and when they say, “Well, no one’s looking at who you’re talking to or the content of telephone conversations,” and they’re telling us that it’s a limited amount of information they’re getting, how can we trust them on that? From a civil liberties standpoint, it’s extremely disappointing.”
When Obama sycophants and worshippers like Alan Colmes start jumping ship, it’s bad news for Obama. Colmes has been one of the staunchest defenders of Obama’s prior lies and unconstitutional acts, so having him see a shred of light about the true Obama is major. Takeaway: Obama is in trouble.
