Insanity: Spending Our Way Out of Debt

The world has changed…..in more ways than one. On the one hand, we have Americans more engaged than ever before in political dialogue to educate themselves and let their voice be heard. On the other, we have an elite political class that operates with an obvious disdain for this voice, constantly going counter against what is best for America and the economic, and other, freedom of its people.

Despite the fact that you have used your voice to send a message to D.C. that you are TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY, Congress continues to show that they view us as serfs and view your hard earned money as automatically belonging to them first…..you should just be happy that they allow you to keep some.

On Monday and Tuesday, Congress and President Obama demonstrated how they really view Americans. They view us as cattle. They view us as work horses. They view us as economic slaves to an already bloated government who refuses to live within its means.

On Monday, when the Senate voted on a bill that would create $1 in spending cuts for every $41 in tax increases, we only had EIGHT….count them….EIGHT….Senators who voted against this enslavement with your economic freedom in mind.

Even more insulting, this freedom destroying and economically devastating monstrosity passed in the Republican controlled House. The roll call on the Republican side of the aisle has the following count: 151 voted no, 5 were cowards and voted present, 85, yes that is EIGHTY-FIVE Republican Congressman voted YES. As for GOP Speaker John Boehner? He voted FOR it!

This new law will not only increase spending, it will also increase taxes. This is exactly the opposite of what Republicans were supposedly fighting for! It is a slap in the face to hard working Americans who are already carrying the government on their backs at the sacrifice of their families and their economic independence and security.

We would expect this from the progressive left who have voiced loudly their desire to transform America into a failed European Socialist society. However, our elected officials on the right are supposed to stand against excessive taxation and work towards a smaller, constitutionally limited government. They have made their choice, now we will make ours. We will fight against them. We will work to expose their blatant hypocrisy and disdain for the American people and the dream which we all strive to achieve.

Money is tight and for 77% of Americans who will experience tax increases beginning this year, it is about to get even more tight thanks to a corrupt, dangerously egotistical government. But, if we don’t continue this fight…….our economic situation will get even worse. We will not give up. We must not give up. We must stand together for our freedom, for our liberty, for our Constitution because it becomes more and more apparent every day that those elected to do so in Washington, D.C. will not. In fact, they do just the opposite.

Their effort to ‘avoid falling off the fiscal cliff’ has pushed us even further off of it with an additional $4 trillion in spending added to the deficit. This way of living, this way of running our government is not sustainable. It will destroy us as a nation as we continue to borrow money in record numbers. It will destroy us as a people as dealing with this deficit attacks those who have struggled and sacrifice to achieve the American dream by penalizing their success with excessive taxation. It will destroy us as individuals as we carry the weight of the government on our backs breaking our spirit and raiding our wallets.

As Americans brace for the economic tidal wave that will soon hit them, President Obama is returning to his lavish Hawaiian vacation at taxpayer expense. Meanwhile, we are beginning 2013 positioning our economy to continue in a downward spiral further down into the hole of recession with stagflation, a combination of a stagnant economy, high unemployment and increased prices, likely close behind. President Obama and this Congress give new, even more dangerous meaning to the powerful words of President Ronald Reagan, “Government is not the solution to our problem. Government is the problem.”

Both rep and dem will still spend till US declared bankrupt. The only way is not to continuously vote out certain politicians, but focus on the expenditure at hand. Even if you vote out say Obama and Biden and all the dem and all the house rep, the next successors will still try to spend till no tomorrow. Look at what government is spending on, then attack on those spending. American have almost 10 years to stop the useless war on terror and war of WMD in Afghan and Iraq and probably countless small unreported foreign “adventures” but instead of stopping the gov, everyone go nuts on property and stocks. Tax is inevitable You should encourage it. By increasing tax, you have a much bigger say in everything. When people feel the pain of being taxed heavily, frivolous spending like creating thousands of useless high tech tanks and jets, billions on refined soldier uniforms which basically looks the same minus the billions. Stop giving free services, and have most public services such as police, fireman, hospital start charging like 10 bucks here and there for calling up and filling forms, then you will see reduce wastage and sustainable services. Just keep yelling “no” here and “no” there is no getting anywhere. Since 2-3 years ago, I know Tea Party effort will be nullified and probably just minor smudges in the grand US history because, it never bother to focus on the things that are really important. Cut spending on a majority such as welfare will never be welcomed by any politician (yes including those repubs). Focus on the large spending items which is definitely wastage, military and intangible subsidies are your biggest candidates. Every dollar spend in military will wasted in foreign country (either burned literally as ammunition or end up in non-US pockets). Every dollar spend in intangible subsidies encourage free loaders. Add supertax on bullets and semi/auto weapons. Level huge taxes on luxury items such as yacht and limo. Introduce idling cash tax, for company having dollars not willing to invest but sitting in bank. The current idea of providing tax cut (predominantly by repub) to encourage investment is absolute wastage and unnecessary subsidies. Every company on earth knows doing business in US is most lucrative and having US gov military protection for free is the best. Expose companies execs information to public should they choose to not invest in US or having complicated dodgy accounts in foreign countries. I’m sure when they get in trouble with foreign menacing elements, they do expect uncle sam to jump in to help.

Socialism AKA ‘Keynesian Economics’ actually works… for One generation. The end result is not pretty. History describes the insurmountable Poverty experienced by all but the ‘Inner Circle’, (administrative insiders/politicians) who prosper from the redistribution of wealth, using Their formulas for success… theirs. The Outer Circle is forced to fight among each other for the remaining wealth to redistributed among themselves. The Proletariat knows no better. They are further reduced into total perpetual dependency, which started the entire process in the first place. Problem is, there are less ‘scraps’ to go around. Any questions? Just ask the ‘Charity Thrift Stores’ if they are continuing to do well under the ‘Obama Syndrome’, than they have continuously been, in countless years previously? Only the totally Clueless will not notice a definite lack of ‘Donations’ for them to sell. More customers? Most surely yes. More merchandise after the last vestiges of the prosperous generation dies off? Wait and see. Of course it will be too late by then.
